Würzburg, August 15.08.2023, 17, 00:XNUMX a.m – For the second time today, a Last Generation protest march is currently taking place through Würzburg. Right in the middle is Eberhardräder from Bastheim in Lower Franconia, a farmer for 40 years. With his protest today he wants to get politicians to take action. As a farmer, he sees with his own eyes what the climate crisis can do.

"I am part of the last generation because, as a farmer, I have noticed for several years now that the climate crisis is already causing us more and more problems, with heavy rainfall and freak weather, which did happen before, but they were once-in-a-century events and not all of them few years.", says bicycles in a video statement from the street.

"And when I imagine...or I actually don't want to imagine what will happen in a few years as a result of more climate crisis, it becomes unbearable. That's why we should act now and it's inevitable that we have to support the last generation, that we take to the streets until the government and politicians act.“, continues the Bavarian farmer.

By taking part in the unregistered protest with his tractor, the farmer not only risks an administrative offense but also his driver's license. But he thinks it's worth it to make it clear to the government what it's actually risking here:

"I have a son who is studying agriculture. I have a farm that I would like to hand over, but a successful handover also requires an intact climate and I don't see that! I see this entire next generation in danger!”, like this bicycles.
