Munich, Berlin, Aalen, Freiburg, Göttingen, Magdeburg, November 21.11.2022, 7, 55:XNUMX a.m – In six cities today, supporters of the last generation are again resisting the fatal failure of the federal government in the climate emergency. In Munich, 9 people bring traffic to a standstill. They know what threatens them. Nevertheless, they are determined to renounce their complicity in the deadly normality. In Berlin, people on the street wear striped prison clothing and hold pictures of the man who has been in custody since November 03.11rd. people locked up in the Stadelheim prison. “Lock up instead of talking” is written on signs that they hold in front of them.

Over the weekend, the 13 Last Generation people who are still in prison without a conviction had one Custody Review stated that they will continue to resist climate hell in the future. To prevent them from doing so, they will continue to be held in prison in the coming weeks.

The environmental engineer Wolfgang Metzeler kick has been on hunger strike in the Stadelheim prison for over ten days because all other means of protest have been taken away from him. For him, one thing is clear: “We have to do everything we can now, because everything is at stake. There will soon be no turning back from what humanity is currently doing. To simply look away now is unforgivable."
