We regret this very much, because it is essential for us to negotiate the first security measures against climate collapse with Olaf Scholz, Christian Lindner, Robert Habeck and especially Volker Wissing.
Dear Federal Government,
we don't want to sit on the highways. It hurts us to be honked at by drivers, insulted, beaten and spit on by passers-by. Many of us receive death threats. It hurts us to interrupt people's everyday lives. All the encouragement, the people thanking us, hugging us or defending us when there are blockages alleviates this pain, but the bottom line is that there is a confrontation that we need, but that basically hurts everyone. A confrontation that we must end, but that only you can end.
On Site Team Jacob Beyer, who is currently in prison in Bavaria for 30 days, in his audio message: “I don't want to continue to participate in the destruction of all of our livelihoods and that's why I'm resisting. […] If we come together as a society, we can achieve a lot. And if I have to go to prison for it, then I'm ready for it. […] "

With Jakob, 17 citizens are currently sitting in a prison in Munich. Many of them are expected to spend 30 days there without trial. Including mothers and fathers who cannot see their children. Thousands of people are stuck in traffic every day, arrive late for their appointments and have their everyday lives interrupted.
Dear federal government, only you can stop this. They could have ended it today. You have it in your hand. With your politics you have control over whether people are stuck in traffic jams and in prison or not. We just need to sit down at the table seriously. We are ready to find a solution.
We don't want to continue. But at the moment we see no other option than to continue civil resistance. At least not one that is morally responsible.
Because the current course threatens society as a whole. We cannot remain silent spectators if you, as the federal government, are steering our society into a climate hell in which our livelihoods such as water, food and security are lost.

If we don't do something about it now, we will be complicit in the deaths of billions of people.
We remain open to negotiations at any time. We have prepared for this and are in contact with politicians and representatives of their ministries and offices every day. All that’s left now is for you – Mr. Scholz, Mr. Linder, Mr. Habeck and Mr. Wissing – to contact us. They are the ones who actually have the power to introduce the first safety measures now - 100 km/h on motorways and a permanent return to the €9 ticket.
