A video shows two police officers twisting 15-year-old Rebekah's wrists and painfully dragging her off the street. Meanwhile, shouts from people nearby can be heard that it is a child.
The 12 year old Simeon previously said in a statement: “I will sit on the street and disrupt things to remind the government, Chancellor Olaf Scholz, that he is responsible for the future of the children. I can't just sit in school and learn how bad the climate catastrophe is and watch nothing being done."
This morning, the two children and other supporters of the last generation glued themselves to the asphalt of the A 100 in order to peacefully and decisively disrupt everyday life. They no longer want to watch as those in power actively destroy their future.
