After food rescuers in Freiburg and Stuttgart blocked main traffic arteries again this morning, everyone involved was arrested and taken to the police station. Disturbances of this kind are also announced for today in Göttingen. Two of the four blockades around the port of Hamburg continue, and the movement of goods is massively disrupted. Among other things, the Köhlbrand Bridge is not passable. Now a food rescuer has gone into the Hamburg harbor basin to directly disrupt shipping traffic.
After the blockades of several access roads to the port of Hamburg since this morning by the last generation, which massively restrict the movement of goods, a food saver is now standing in the way of the steel giants directly in the port of Hamburg.
"My morals and my humanity require me not to stand idly by while Olaf Scholz leads my fellow human beings into starvation. We want security instead of a deadly business as usual. We want citizens' assembly instead of hunger, floods and stormssays Kevin Hecht before he climbs into the harbor basin.
When police arrived on speedboats, the food rescuer remained peaceful and determined. He did not comply with the police's requests to leave the harbor and was ultimately involuntarily pulled out of the water. A police helicopter is currently circling over the scene, presumably looking for other people swimming in the harbor basin.
